Yarn IBRAHIM ORIGINAL MOBILE SHOP is a mobile mechanic workshop on Mosque Road. Engine trouble, a battery that won't turn over, brakes grinding, a tyre gone flat on the Kombo Sillah highway — call and we load the tools and come to your car, wherever it's parked. What we do
Most of what comes through the shop is the same short list of problems — the heat, the dust and the state of the roads around Serrekunda take their toll on the same parts every time. Here's what we handle, and what it usually means for your car.

Check-engine light on, rough idle, losing power on the highway, or a noise you can't place. We read the fault codes, then test the actual components — coils, sensors, fuel delivery — instead of replacing parts on a guess.

Car won't start in the morning, or dies at a junction with the lights dimming. We test the battery under load, check the alternator output and the earth straps, and fit a replacement on the spot if that's what it needs.

Squealing, a soft pedal, or the car pulling to one side when you brake. Pads and discs replaced, calipers freed and greased, fluid bled properly. We'll tell you honestly if there's still life left in what you've got.

Flat on the roadside, a slow leak you keep topping up, or vibration through the steering at speed. Puncture repair, tube replacement, spare fitting and balancing — done at your car, not at ours.

In this heat, a dead air-con isn't a comfort problem, it's a safety one. We check the compressor, condenser and fan, find the leak, and re-gas the system. Radiator and thermostat work too, if the temperature gauge is climbing.

Full service to schedule: engine oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, belts checked, fluids topped, and a written note of anything that needs watching before it becomes a breakdown.

Knocking over potholes, wandering steering, uneven tyre wear. Shocks, bushes, ball joints and track rod ends — the parts that take the worst of the roads between Serrekunda and the coast.

Breakdown & call-out
Call the number and tell us three things: where the car is, what it's doing, and what make and model it is. That's usually enough for us to know whether it's a roadside fix or whether the car needs recovering back to the shop on Mosque Road.

The shop sits on Mosque Road in Serrekunda, in the Kanifing Municipal Council area — a short way from the main market and the Serekunda–Bakau road. If you're coming to us rather than calling us out, ring ahead so we know you're on the way and can have the bay clear.

Open all seven days, including public holidays. Late evening call-outs are fine — that's what the 10 PM close is for.
About the shop
Yarn IBRAHIM ORIGINAL MOBILE SHOP started the way most useful things in Serrekunda start — with a mechanic, a set of tools and a phone that kept ringing. Cars would come in on Mosque Road, but just as often the call was to a car that couldn't come in at all: a taxi stopped dead on the Serekunda–Bakau road, a family car that wouldn't start outside the market, a delivery van overheating halfway to the coast.
So the shop became mobile. The bench, the diagnostic reader and the common spares travel in the van; the heavier work — suspension, gearbox, anything needing the car up on stands — happens back on Mosque Road. Between the two, most jobs get sorted the same day you call.
What we won't do is guess. If a part doesn't need replacing, we say so. If a repair isn't worth the money on a car of that age, we say that too. It's a small town and the work comes back through people telling each other the truth about who fixed their car properly.
